Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

In short: LanqDeck runs entirely on your own local network. We don’t collect your personal data, we don’t run a server that sees your activity, and there’s no account to create.

No personal data collected

LanqDeck does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data to us or to any third-party server. All communication happens directly between the LanqDeck app on your phone and the LanqDeck agent on your own PC, over your local network (LAN).

There is no remote server in the middle, no user account, and no analytics or tracking built into the app or the agent.

What stays on your devices

To keep your phone and PC paired securely, a small amount of pairing and trust information is stored locally:

  • On your phone, a trust key is kept in the operating system’s secure storage.
  • On your PC, the agent keeps a local file listing the devices you’ve approved.

This data never leaves your devices. You can remove it at any time by unpairing in the app or by removing a device from the agent.

Permissions we use

  • Local network — to discover your PC on the network and to send commands to the agent. LanqDeck only communicates within your LAN.
  • Camera — used only to scan a pairing QR code shown by the agent. The camera image is processed on-device and is never stored or sent anywhere.

Third parties

LanqDeck does not share data with third parties, because it doesn’t collect your data in the first place. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs in the app.

Children’s privacy

LanqDeck is a utility for controlling your own computer and is not directed at children. Since no personal data is collected, none is collected from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
